This project involves the renovation of existing OB and NICU spaces on Level 6 of the John Pappajohn Pavilion. The proposed space program includes the build-out of 18 delivery rooms, one (net-new) operating room, 15 NICU patient rooms, a bereavement suite, and the necessary support and staff areas to facilitate these functions.

In addition, the project will refresh the existing postpartum unit and two operating rooms, while also establishing a dedicated triage space to enhance patient care.
