Reason and details for closure/impact
Project work will close the sidewalk along the north side of Hawkeye Wave Way and the north-south pedestrian crossing from Pomerantz Family Pavilion to Stead Family Children's Hospital. The pedestrian crossing from Pomerantz Family Pavilion to the south Pappajohn Pavilion will remain open for use. This closure is required to allow continued site access for the Stead Family Children's Hospital Replace Windows and Pappajohn Pavilion Level 7 Maternity Services projects and to facilitate temporary chiller placement to support critical chilled water upgrades.

Existing accessible pedestrian pathway remains open along the south sidewalk along Hawkeye Wave Way and is accessible from the south side of Stead Family Children's Hospital and Pappajohn Pavillion.
Alternate route
Sidewalk along the south side of Hawkeye Wave Way and the pedestrian crossing on the west end of the road near Hawkins Drive remain open.
