On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, contractors will be on-site to repair the flagpole halyard located on top of the dome of the Old Capitol building. To complete this work, a lift will be set up on the east side of the building, requiring the temporary closure of the sidewalk and Entrance 1. Work is expected to begin between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM and should take approximately 2–3 hours. Pedestrian traffic control will be in place to ensure safety, and pedestrians are advised to use alternate building entrances and sidewalks. Thank you for your cooperation.
