The route impacted is not an accessible route. Accessible route is on the north side of Boyd tower and will not be impacted.
Alternate route
Access can be achieved by walking around the South side of the Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD) and around the West side of CDD to the VA Bus Loop Area.
Reason and details for closure
The Institutional Road project is proceeding as scheduled and work will proceed adjacent to Ramp 1 and Boyd Tower. This will interrupt the pedestrian route directly down the hill to the VA bus loop. Access can be achieved by walking around the South side of the Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD) and around the West side of CDD to the VA Bus Loop Area.
Access around the North side of Boyd Tower will be maintained for as long as possible.
