City of Iowa City - Davenport and Bloomington Street at Clinton Street - Water Main Construction
The City of Iowa City will be completing water main work that will require the closure of several spaces on campus, including road, sidewalk, and parking closures.
Work near Clinton Street will require the closure of roads and sidewalks at intersections on Davenport Street and Bloomington Street. Affected areas include:
(A) Intersection of Clinton Street and Bloomington Street. All crosswalks on the east side of the intersection will be closed. Bloomington Street will be closed to through traffic between Clinton Street and Dubuque Street. Parking on the east side of Clinton Street will be closed to facilitate temporary bus stops. North and southbound lanes on Clinton Street will be maintained but shifted to the west. South sidewalk closed on Bloomington Street between Clinton Street and Dubuque Street.
(B) Intersection of Clinton Street and Davenport Street. The north/south crosswalk on the east side of Clinton Street will be closed. Davenport Street will closed to through traffic between Clinton Street and Dubuque Street. Parking on the east side of Clinton Street will be closed to facilitate temporary bus stops. North and southbound lanes on Clinton Street will be maintained but shifted to the west.

The sidewalk on the east side of Clinton Street will remain open. The north sidewalk on Bloomington Street will remain open for pedestrians. Pedestrians wanting to cross Clinton Street will need to do so at Market Street or Davenport Street.
