Reason and details for closure/impact
This project will create more space for the Tippie College of Business by modernizing Gilmore Hall, connecting it to the Pappajohn Business Building, constructing a partial courtyard addition to Pappajohn Business Building, and reconfiguring a small portion of the existing facility.
Phase one closures: The Pappajohn Business Building Courtyard will be closed during construction. A section of sidewalk south of the courtyard will be closed between Gilmore Hall and Pappajohn Business Building. Temporary sidewalks will be installed to maintain access to the Pappajohn Business Building and Gilmore Hall. Courtyard entrances to Pappajohn Business Building will be closed.

Accessible route
This project will add temporary concrete sidewalks (marked in cyan on the attachment) to ensure all routes remain accessible. Sidewalk closure signs and alternate routes will be erected as shown on the attached plan.
Alternate route
The sidewalk on the north side of Jefferson Street will be obstructed for construction vehicle access. A TROW has been approved by the City. Signs will route pedestrians across crosswalks to the sidewalk on the south side of Jefferson Street.
