Washington Street between Capitol Street and Madison Street will be closed for a City of Iowa City reconstruction project. The Washington Street reconstruction project includes replacing street pavement, upgrading ADA-compliant curb ramps, and improving stormwater infrastructure.

Throughout the duration of the project, the downtown transit interchange will relocate to Court Street between Clinton Street and Dubuque Street, affecting Cambus, Coralville, and Iowa City bus routes.
