Join the Miyawaki Forest Tree Planting 2.0 on Arbor Day, Friday, April 24. This exciting initiative aims to plant 2,000 native tree saplings and shrubs using the Miyawaki Method, a technique for densely planting native trees to create bio-diverse and self-sustaining forests.
Meet us at the top of the hill on the southeast side of the College of Public Health. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome. You may come and go at your leisure. Stay for as long as you can, and help us plant as many trees as you like. If you plan to bring a large group (more than 15 people), please email sustainability@uiowa.edu.
