Reason and details for closure/impact
The west patio of the Iowa Memorial Union will be temporarily closed from April 27 to June 17 due to window replacement work. During this time, the sidewalk directly west of the affected area will also be closed; however, the sidewalk along the river will remain open and serve as an alternate pedestrian route. The affected area will be fenced and clearly marked to maintain a safe construction boundary. Entrances 11 and 13 on the west side of the building will be closed; additional entrances are available on the north and east sides of the building.
