Entrance #1, located on the east side of the Iowa Memorial Union, will undergo masonry repairs on the overhead balconette starting April 10. To maintain pedestrian access, contractors will block only one side of the entrance at a time. A small lift will be positioned on the sidewalk, but the walkway will remain open.
 
For an step-free route, please use the accessible entrance (#17) located on the north side of the building between the Iowa Memorial Union and Iowa Advanced Technologies Laboratories (see map).

Accessible route
Travel north to the walkway between the Iowa Memorial Union and Iowa Advanced Technologies Laboratories, turn west and head to the accessible ramp by entrance 17. Use ramp to entrance 17.
Alternate route
Use sidewalk around the Iowa Memorial Union to one of the following entrances: south entrance #3, east entrance #2, east entrance #21 or north entrance #17.
