Reason and details for closure/impact
A section of Capitol Street between the Davenport Street and the Burge Hall loading dock will be closed for assembly of a crane and chiller equipment. This area will be fenced off to prevent pedestrians from walking through the work zone.
During equipment deliveries, there will be multiple semi-trucks and trailers traveling on Bloomington Street and turning onto Capitol Street. As the materials are being delivered, flaggers will be utilized to direct both vehicles and pedestrians in the area.
Parking in the North Campus Parking Ramp will not be affected by this closure.

The skybridge between Catlett Hall and Capitol Street will remain open for pedestrians.
