Partial Parking Lot Reopening Update: The southeast portion of Patient Overflow Parking Lot for dental clinic patient overflow parking only is set to reopen on June 30. Additional pedestrian routes from this parking lot to the Dental Science Building and Carver-Hawkeye Arena are available, including a permanent sidewalk along the east side of the parking lot, and temporary pathways along the north and northeast corner of the parking lot. Pedestrian paths from the original alert (below) will remain in place and are illustrated on the traffic control map above.

Original Arena Ramp Phase 2A alert: This closure is necessary to construct the new drop-off drive at the Dental Science Building in the Dental Patient Lot and reconstruct portions of the former Patient Overflow Parking Lot and the Dental Parking Lot. A new pedestrian crosswalk on the east side of Hawkins Drive/Hawkeye Ramp Drive intersection is in place to allow travel from Hawkeye Ramp and parking lots south of Hawkins Drive. The existing Dental Science Building drop-off drive will remain open, including a portion of the Dental Patient Lot. Pedestrian traffic accessing the Dental Science Building will have alternate routes as listed above.
