Accessible route
Accessible routes to entrance of College of Dentistry will remain accessible from Lot 33 and Elliot Drive.
Alternate route
Pedestrians traveling east-west along the north side of Hawkins to College of Dentistry will continue to Elliot Drive, detour north along the west side of Elliot and use the crosswalk to access the sidewalk along the north side of Lots 44 and 40. Accessible parking and walkways will remain available in Lot 33.
Reason and details for closure/impact
This closure is necessary to construct the new drop-off drive at College of Dentistry in Lot 33 and reconstruct portions of Lot 44 and Lot 40. A new pedestrian crosswalk on the east side of Hawkins / Hawkeye Ramp Drive intersection will be active allowing travel from Hawkeye Ramp and Lots south of Hawkins. The existing College of Dentistry drop-off drive will remain operational including a portion of Lot 33. Pedestrian traffic accessing the College of Dentistry will have alternate routes.
