Reason and details for closure/impact

Utility installation work for the new HSAB building will involve removal of the sidewalk south of Slater Hall, tying into existing utility systems and restoration of the area.  Fencing will be installed to protect the work zone which will block the south entrance (ENT2) to the building.  The ADA ramp on the West end of the building will be blocked towards the South end of the ramp making this doorway (ENT3) an emergency exit only.

ENT2 will remain open for the first phase of the work with the fencing starting west of the ENT2 ramp.  Additional closure notice will be sent out when a date is know for the remaining sidewalk to be removed and access to ENT2 will be closed off.

The sidewalk along S. Grand Avenue from the NW corner of the lot back to the HSAB construction site will be blocked during this phase.
