Reason and details for closure/impact
A temporary portable generator is being placed along the sidewalk north of Pappajohn Biomedical Discovery Building and east of Carver Biomedical Research Building. A fence will be installed around the generator for safety. A portion of the bike rack along that sidewalk will be unavailable.
The temporary portable generator, intended to be a backup power solution in the case of an emergency, is being installed on September 14, 2026, and will be in place until no longer necessary.
