Reason and details for closure/impact
Sidewalks near the water tower will be closed for the duration of the water demo project for safety reasons.
The sidewalk along Hawkins Drive between the Center for Disabilities and Development and Hospital Loop Drive and the sidewalk located southeast of the water tower will be closed. A temporary pedestrian pathway will be installed south of the project area.

Accessible route
A temporary sidewalk has been installed to the south of the project area from Hawkins Drive to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics main entrance sidewalk.
Alternate route
The skywalk between Hospital Parking Ramp 3 and the the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics campus will remain open, or pedestrians can route around the project area north of Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Center and along sidewalks on the west side of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
