The Oakdale Water Plant will be testing pressure mode settings for the newly installed tower pumps. This testing is necessary to prove that the pumps can run the system for when the tower needs to be taken out of service for maintenance. This testing will take place Tuesday, June 9 through Thursday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. There will be no loss of water service, but it will limit the amount of instantaneous flow available. During these dates and times users will need to limit any task that would require non-routine water usage. This will also affect building sprinkler system capacity, so hot work should be limited and/or fire watch should be extended during these times.
